Hi again :) I am back with another layout share featuring a few pages that have been published in Scrapbooking Memories Magazine earlier this year.

The first layout was published in Vol 18 No.11 of the magazine, and was created for the 'Clear Snap' Master's challenge. Clear Snap provided us with a box full of their awesome goodies, and I used their inks, blenders and stencils to create my layout.

I used the blender tool to apply a gradient of ink through the heart stencil to create a mat for my photo, then applied some ink onto my craft mat where I added a bit of water and picked up the colour with a some plastic packaging and 'smooshed' the colour onto my background.

The majority of the papers were from Amy Tangerine's 'Finders Keepers' collection and the awesome wood veneer came from Flutterby Designs

The second layout was featured in the 'Graphic' gallery of Vol 18 No. 12. and I used a simple mix of paper squares to create a fun graphic background.

The angled grid design was a good way to use up some paper scraps, and by repeating some of the same patterns it wasn't too chaotic. I also replaced a couple of the squares with stitching to add some variety to the design.

I was able to fit 4 photos of my little guy enjoying himself at his playgroup fun day and I used embellishment clusters to draw the eye to each pic.

layout share...

Hi :) I have a few Masters projects to share that were created for Scrapbooking Memories Magazine earlier in the year.

The first layout was published in Vol 18 No.9 of the magazine and was sponsored by Studio Calico, who provided us with one of their scrapbook kits.

I loved the cityscape paper and centered my design around the bands of colour going across the background paper. I used some of the manufacture's strips from the other papers in the kit to repeat the colour pattern beneath my photo and extended the colours onto the white cardstock with the use of a stencil and some spray ink.

The next layout was created with a pack from Heartfelt Creations for Vol 18 No. 10 of the magazine and although pretty florals are not usually my style, the products were a perfect match for a photo of my gorgeous niece at my sisters wedding. I kept the design clean and simple and used one of the dragonfly stamps with gold ink to add some subtle detail to a sheet of vellum.

I used the papers to cover a few chipboard frames to which I added a few extra items from my stash to create a pretty embellishment cluster. I have photographed lots more pages and will be back soon with another share, but until then... thanks for stopping by xx

The past month flew by way too fast, but a new month means a brand new challenge is up on the Kraft+ blog, and this month we have a very fun inspiration board for you to play along with.

This month's challenge is all about tassels and here is what I created...

Using the dip dyed tassels from the Kraft broad as my inspiration, I used white crochet cotton to create my own tassels which I dipped into a little bit of spray mist with water and love how my diy tassels turned out.

I am seeing tassels everywhere lately, and thought they were a perfect match for the cute fringed heart I have been hoarding for the past few months ;)

Be sure to check out the Kraft+ blog to see all the fantastic ways the team and guest designers have used tassels and don't forget to upload your layouts by the end of the month for a chance to win this month's awesome prizes! Thanks for stopping by xx

Hi again :) I have completed April and shared two weeks worth of pages over on the Sassy Scrapper's blog yesterday.

Continuing on from the start of the month, I have once again used the 'Life is Beautiful' collection from Fancy Pants Design to compete my pages.

Because I documented two weeks worth of photos on the one spread, I added a flip pocket for some extra pics and and as always you can find all the links to the products I have used along with extra photos over on the Sassy blog.
