a couple I prepared earlier...

Hi :) its usually around this time of year when I try and get up to date and go back and find all the layouts and projects I have created but haven't shared yet.

First up is a layout that was published in Scrapbooking Memories magazine Vol 16 No1 for the 'out of your comfort zone challenge' where I was asked to give a more ''arty'' style a try.

I had a lot of fun playing with differnet mediums and although the layout is still very much my own style I like that it isnt as ''clean" as I usually do and have since added some of the same techniques to my other projects.

I also have a couple of layotus to share from a past Scrappy Canary cybercrop. I managed to get two layotus completed and even won one of the challenges with this layout...

I used lots of items from their kits, along with a few of my own {scrAp this!} designs which were part of the embellishment kit for the month :)

there was also this layout...

using one of my favourite colour combos mixed with lots of yummy layers.

I have loads of pages from my project life album to share, so I hope you'll stop by again soon xx

Have you seen the fun Tech Savvy challenge over at Scrap the Boys this month?

I think you'll agree that technology has come a long way since we were kids and it seems like today's generation definitely has it all figured out!

I used some pics of all my boys with their various devices, which have fast become a part of everyday life.

and a few more close ups :)

You'll find loads of great samples from the STB team over on the blog and don't forget get your entries in by the end of the month to be eligible for some awesome prizes.

Thanks for stopping by xx

saying goodbye to D-lish scraps...

I'm sad to say that my design team term with D-lish Scraps has already come to an end :( It feels like it has gone by way to fast but it has truly been a great six months and I absolutely loved playing with so many awesome goodies while working with Amanda and the rest of the team.

I shared two final layouts over on the blog starting with a fun pic of my little guy soaking in the bath.

I used several layers of coloured tulle from the store to create a soft floating background for my photo.

I used heat embossing to help me co-ordinate some wood veneer words and enamel dots to my page...
you'll find all the details here.

I went with a mix of warm tones paired with some bold patterned paper for this next page.

I created a journaling pocket out of tags and used pops of black to break up some of the patterns.

again you can find full details over on my original post

Thanks for stopping by xx
