Happy December fellow bloggers!!! I love this time of year and have plenty of Christmas goodness to share... so if Christmas isn't really your thing then press the back arrow now and leave while you can lol ;) - but if you are feeling festive then read on... because to start the month off I have a RAK to giveaway
I love the gorgeous new SEI Alpine Frost collection so much that I have ordered some more just to give away. So if you love this range too then be sure to leave a comment between now and the 12th for your chance to win you some!!

I also have some work to show you that I made for a Christmas challenge at Little Scrapbook Shop. I created this photo frame for my OTP item
along with this set of cards with matching tags and finally created this layout using the non-traditional colours Oh and if you haven't already noticed - I really love this time of year and have been spending my time writing names on these beautiful hand painted Xmas balls at the shopping centre. If you happen to live in the Penrith area I'll be there every weekend up until Christmas so don't be shy and come and say hi :)
And much to my surprise I have been given another blog award! this time by the lovely Belynda - thanks so much hon :) Be sure to check out the fabulous advent calendar this very clever girl has created!
The rules for receiving the award are simple:1. The winner may put the logo on their blog.2. Put a link to the person who sent you the award.3. Nominate 5 blogs.4. Put links to their blogs.5. Leave a message for your nominees.
This time I am passing the award on to these wonderfully talented bloggers: Kirsty, Mel, Susan, Beth and Ali.

Have had a few issues with blogger this week - so I'm really happy to finally be able to update. Yay!!
For some reason my layouts just aren't happening at the moment, so for something different I have taken on Sandie's 12 Days of Christmas Challenge. I figure it will be a good way to put a dint in my stash while getting some cards made. We are up to day 5 but you can join in at any time ;) Here's what I've made so far:
On the first day of Christmas..... the challenge was to create a card inspired by a partridge in a pear tree.
On the second day of Christmas..... create a card using 2 pp and 2 tags.
On the third day of Christmas.... have 3 Christmas trees. On the fourth day of Christmas.... use 4 squares of patterned paper. On the fifth day of Christmas.... use 5 golden brads.I also made this album for Little Scrapbook Shop's November CC. The challenge was to prepare an album where you can record all the little conversations and memories that happen in your day-to-day lives and these are the pages I've prepared so far:and one page already filled in with the details of Cameron learning to ride without the training wheels :)
We have a busy weekend planned, but I'll be back when I have more cards made :)

Time for this week's catch up...

I finally finished and posted the Christmas cards I signed up to make to help raise funds for Christmas hampers for struggling families, organised by Monk on the Blue Bazaar forum.
I've gone for a pretty simple design so it would be easy to replicate and I like how they have turned out.

I've also stamped the back of each card with this cute little stamp I got from BB.

An Award...
I'm very happy to have been given a blog award from the very talented Sandie who is the busiest blogger I've ever known ;)
The Rules are :-1. The winner may put the logo on their blog.2. Put a link to the person who sent you the award.3. Nominate 5 blogs.4. Put links to their blogs.5. Leave a message for your nominees.
And now comes the hard part.... because there are so many wonderful blogs I love to visit, but his time I'm passing the award on to: Carole, Naomi, Renee D, Skye, Edleen, Wendy and Sue-Ann. I know I was meant to only choose 5, but some rules are just meant to be broken :)

And speaking of Sandie... here is another Chrissy card I made for her weekly blog sketch.
I came up with the idea of creating my own varnished accents by coating paper cut-outs with nail polish - and I've got to say it turned out great! But while its perfect to use on cards, I do not recommend using the accents on your layouts. I got this shade at the clearance section at the chemist and love the shimmery finish.I also got some of Sandie's handmade goodness when a pack of her gorgeous daisies that I'd won on her blog arrived in the mail this week. To get some daisies of your very own be sure to check out Sandie's blog. and I've been tagged....
By the lovely Lauren :) Here are some fact you may not know about me:
1. When I grew up I wanted to be a lawyer - which may explain why I watch Law & Order re-runs late at night while I scrap ;)
2. I have been speaking Polish all my life, but only learnt to read/write the language about a year ago, with the help of a translation dictionary when I began contact with my dad who lives there.
3. Before I had kids, I use to do I use to do catwalk and photographic modelling and promotions.
4. I have a bit of a hoarding problem, and have a garage full of stuff I can't bear to part with.
5. I suffer from allergies all year round, and carry tissues with me where ever I go.
6. I think I know the words to every Prince song ever written :)
And now Lis, Maxine, Renee, Rebecca, Ness and Sar I want to know 6 things about you!

And last but not least, a DT layout for Click 'n' Scrap using beads and the gorgeous BG Urban Prairie range -perfect for this cute photo of little Miya!
Have a great weekend
